throughout my skincare journey, i have thrown away thousands of face washes. simply because some made my skin dry instead of clean. i found out that i commonly mistake dry skin for clean skin. i am a proud oily skin candidate! when my face is giving signs of dryness, it is absolutely time for a hydrating mask or a switch up in the face wash department.

the skincare girlies have definitely put me onto many things, however when i found out about La Roche-Posay's face washes, i had to get at least one of them. i started out using their Toleriane Purifying Foaming Facial Wash. that face wash worked amazing but i felt like it wasn't strong enough. i switched to the Effaclar Gel Facial Wash for Oily Skin which to this day has still worked wonders by making my skin less oily throughout the day.

i absolutely recommend, if you are looking for new face washes, to try out La Roche- Posay's products. before using the gel face wash, i noticed that my skin would have a combination of dryness and oiliness. i noticed my t-zone produced way more oil than any other part of my face. after using the gel face wash, i noticed that my skin kept its hydration throughout the day.
